Pimax has delayed the release of the Dream Air PC VR headset to August-September 2025 due to waiting on Sony micro-OLED panels.
The Dream Air SE, a cheaper alternative, has been revealed with similar features but lower resolution micro-OLED panels starting at $899.
Both versions of Dream Air SE are available for pre-order on Pimax's website and come with a 14-day trial period before users have to pay for continued access.
The Dream Air SE SLAM version is priced at $1,199, while the Lighthouse version starts at $899 for those with existing SteamVR base stations and controllers.
