Lotus is looking to expand the range of vehicles produced at its Hethel plant in the UK, including models from the wider Geely group like the Polestar 6.
The CEO of Lotus Cars Europe, Matt Windle, expresses confidence in potentially building the Polestar 6 at the Hethel plant, following the merger of Lotus UK and Lotus Tech.
Historically, other non-Lotus models like the Vauxhall VX220 and Tesla Roadster were produced at Hethel, and the company aims to increase production at the site.
Lotus' own electric sports car, the Type 135, is currently on hold as the company evaluates market demand for an electric sports car model.
