L’Avenue Hats & Bakery in Sacramento, California, was forced to close for the second time due to health violations involving cockroaches and flies.
In June, the bakery initially shut down after 29 German cockroaches were found in various locations, along with flies in the kitchen.
The bakery was allowed to reopen after meeting specific requirements, but was closed again on July 1 due to additional cockroach and fly infestations.
Despite the repeated violations, L’Avenue Hat’s and Bakery quickly passed a reinspection on July 2 and reopened, without issuing a statement regarding the incidents.
