Games Workshop, the parent company of Warhammer 40,000, is distributing employee bonuses amounting to about $27 million due to the game's surging revenue.
The company's core revenue increased to £560 million from £494.7 million in the previous period, with employees set to receive around $18,000 each as bonuses.
In addition to selling miniatures, Games Workshop has been profitable through licensing deals, including an Amazon Prime TV series and a video game, contributing to the brand's financial success.
Despite its growth in various media, Warhammer's enduring appeal lies in its tactile nature, with fans hand-painting miniatures, reflecting the hobby's unique charm and long-standing influence in tabletop gaming.
