Previewing Recall with Click to Do on Copilot+ PCs with Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel
- Microsoft releases Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.2415 to the Dev Channel, with the release of Recall (Preview) and Click to Do (Preview) for Copliot+ PCs.
- Recall offers an efficient way to search for past activities and securely keep track of activities completed on Copilot+ PCs.
- The AI-based feature leverages user learning capability to find and return different types of content.
- Click to Do feature provides AI-powered actions for users to take on any image or text found during the use of Recall.
- Microsoft also improved the scan mode in Narrator with functionalities for navigating past links, and to lists, and enhanced its speech-to-text and text-to-speech user interface features.
- The Dev Channel update comes with additional features gradually rolled out to Insiders who have turned on the toggle to get the latest updates.
- Recall with Click to Do is gradually rolled out on Snapdragon-powered Copliot+ PCs with support for AMD and Intel-powered Copilot+ PCs coming soon.
- Reminders are given to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel to note that Windows Insiders in this channel receive updates based on Windows 11, version 24H2.
- Privacy and security of Recall with Click to Do has been improved and Microsoft assures users that their snapshot data is truly theirs.
- Recall with Click to Do offers more functionalities, which will be available through different channels in a future update.
