Productivity software maker Tana Labs Inc. has launched with $25 million in funding. The company raised $14 million in a recent Series A round, following an initial seed funding of $11 million.
Tana provides a productivity platform with a note-taking tool, called the daily page, that helps users organize information. The platform's Supertag feature enables users to tag sentences and organize them in a structured format.
Tana's platform includes features such as transforming to-do items into timelines or virtual cards, and Tana Publish for longer-form content. The platform also utilizes artificial intelligence to autofill information and provide chatbot-like research and document summarization.
Tana piloted its platform through a beta testing program with over 30,000 participants and has garnered interest from over 160,000 users, including employees at over 80% of the Fortune 500. The funding will be used to build new features and develop AI agents for automation.
