PS Store Removes Dev Months After Users Fell for Major Scam

  • Sony has taken action against a developer involved in a PS Store scam, where players were scammed into purchasing a knock-off PC game called Schedule 1, only to be denied refunds.
  • The developer, PublishMe Agency Ltd, was able to continue its scam by changing the game's name to 'Weed Drug Empire' and removing references to Schedule 1.
  • Despite these efforts, Sony has now removed all of PublishMe Agency's games, including Weed Drug Empire and another clone titled Report Extraction, from the PS Store.
  • The scamming developer had previously evaded a ban by Sony, but has now been removed months after users fell for the major scam.
