<ul><li>The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is starting discussions on PTA LDI license renewal with nine Long Distance International (LDI) operators.</li><li>The operators collectively owe Rs78 billion in outstanding dues, comprising of Rs24 billion in principal amounts and Rs54 billion in late payment charges.</li><li>The meetings will take place individually with each operator scheduled from April 9 to April 18.</li><li>The fate of the operators' licenses will be determined after the conclusion of these hearings.</li></ul>
