Geely has launched the Radar King Kong EM-P plug-in hybrid in China, featuring a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine paired with two electric motors for a total output of 349 hp and 914 Nm of torque.
The PHEV pick-up truck offers a combined range of 1,068 km, with 100 km of EV range on the CLTC test cycle and a 60-litre fuel tank. It can achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.3 seconds and 8.6 seconds with a full 1,000 kg payload.
The Radar King Kong EM-P features V2L and V2V capabilities, offering up to 3.3 kW and 21 kW respectively. It can tackle steep gradients up to 100% without payload and 65% with a full payload.
Exported as the Riddara RD6 EM-P, it is expected to enter markets like Thailand. The interior includes a 10.2-inch instrument display, a 14.6-inch infotainment unit, and seating for five occupants.
