<ul><li>Rapid Bus together with the Selangor public works department (JKR) has extended the operating hours of the Jalan Ampang bus lane from 4:30pm to 7pm, effective May 19, 2025.</li><li>The extended hours will apply to a 0.62 km stretch on Jalan Ampang benefitting key bus routes including feeder routes and is expected to enhance passenger experience on these routes.</li><li>The Jalan Ampang bus lane has seen increased ridership since its introduction on July 3, 2023, with daily passengers growing from 12,819 to 14,424.</li><li>Rapid Bus aims to attract more users towards public transport by providing time savings, with an evaluation of this initiative planned by Rapid Bus, JKR, MIROS, and the ministry of transport over the next three months.</li></ul>
