<ul><li>Ratan Tata, an Indian industrialist, has been awarded the Order of Australia (AO) honour, the highest civil honour in Australia, for his contribution to Indo-Australian ties in areas such as trade, investment, and philanthropy.</li><li>Australia's High Commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell, shared pictures from the ceremony and stated that Ratan Tata's contributions have also made a significant impact in Australia.</li><li>Ratan Tata has been a vocal supporter of the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, finalised in 2022, and has assisted visiting business and government dignitaries in India, strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.</li></ul>
