<ul><li>The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of Partha Pratim Sengupta as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bandhan Bank for a period of three years.</li><li>Sengupta's tenure will begin no later than November 10, 2024.</li><li>He replaces Chandra Sekhar Ghosh, the Founder MD and CEO, who stepped down on July 9.</li><li>Sengupta brings over four decades of experience and has previously served as the Managing Director and CEO of the state-owned Indian Overseas Bank.</li></ul>
