The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct four Open Market Operations (OMO) purchase auctions of G-Secs in April.The auctions will be held on April 03, April 08, April 22, and April 29 with each tranche of ₹20,000 crore.The RBI's decision is based on the review of current and evolving liquidity conditions.The liquidity surplus of about ₹90,000 crore as of March 30, 2025, may soon turn into a deficit, leading to the OMO purchase auction announcement.
