A Twitter user raised concerns about Realme smartphones allegedly capturing users' personal data, such as call logs, location, and SMS, through the Enhanced Intelligent Services feature, which was claimed to be enabled by default.
The user stated that this could be considered forced consent since the feature was automatically activated without users' explicit approval.
Minister of State for IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, responded to the tweet, acknowledging the concern and assuring that the matter would be investigated and tested to verify the allegations.
