Reddit has filed a lawsuit against Anthropic for allegedly using its data to train AI models without permission.
The lawsuit claims that Anthropic accessed Reddit content unlawfully through bots at least 100,000 times and refused to engage in discussions about licensing.
Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has previously warned AI firms, including Anthropic, about scraping Reddit data and taking steps to limit automated scraping.
Anthropic has disagreed with Reddit's claims and stated that they will defend themselves vigorously against the allegations.
