Bengaluru-based Citrus Freight, a logistics tech startup, raised Rs 2.5 crore in a bridge funding round from Caret Capital and other investors.
The funding will be used to expand the team and enhance digital infrastructure, bringing the total funding to Rs 5.25 crore.
Citrus Freight offers a platform for Indian exporters to book refrigerated containers quickly, focusing on perishable goods like fruits, vegetables, and meat.
The startup aims to move 1,500 containers, generating Rs 45 crore in revenue in the coming 12 to 24 months, with plans to improve analytics and temperature tracking capabilities.
