<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="false"><li>19 land title holders from five villages have agreed to transfer their land to TIDCO for the Parandur greenfield airport following direct talks chaired by the District Collector.</li><li>In October 2023, the State government sanctioned the acquisition of 1,527.32 hectares of patta lands for the airport project in Sriperumbudur and Kancheepuram taluks.</li><li>The resettlement package for affected families includes an eligible site, a 400 sq ft construction house, annuity or employment choices, transportation cost coverage, and grants for various purposes.</li><li>The government order issued on June 25 outlines provisions such as stamp duty waiver and support for vulnerable sections like differently-abled individuals and widows in the resettlement process for the airport development.</li></ul>
