Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair program to include iPads, allowing customers to access parts and tools needed for DIY repairs.
The program covers iPad Air (M2 and later), iPad Pro (M4), iPad mini (A17 Pro), and iPad (A16) for common issues like displays, batteries, cameras, and charging ports.
In addition to iPads, new Macs such as MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and iPhone 16e are also included in the program, providing access to genuine Apple parts and tools.
The Self Service Repair program is available in the United States and Europe, but Apple advises that it is suitable for individuals with experience in repairing electronic devices.
