The US Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly planning to ask the court to order Google to sell off its Chrome browser.
The move is aimed at reducing Google's control of the browser market and leveling the playing field for rivals.
In addition to selling Chrome, the DOJ is also seeking other remedies including imposing data licensing requirements and more transparency for advertisers.
These measures are intended to prevent Google from hoarding user data and allow more users to opt out of AI training.
