Brooklyn-based electric vehicle charging infrastructure startup Revel has opened its first EV fast-charging hub in San Francisco, marking the beginning of its expansion plans in the Bay Area.
The Mission District charging station features 12 chargers with 320 kW capacity, accessible 24/7 to any make and model of EV.
Revel plans to add more than 125 chargers in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and South Francisco in the next year, targeting urban areas with high rates of EV ownership.
Revel recently secured a $60 million loan to triple its fast-charging network in New York City and aims to expand to 300 chargers by year-end.
