A 15-year-old Asus eeePC netbook has been revived with modern MX Linux.The netbook, featuring an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 250 GB HDD, originally came with Windows 7 Starter Edition.After replacing the OS with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04 and then MX Linux 18, the netbook was retired in 2019 but recently revived.Despite its age, the netbook successfully runs a Linux 6.1 kernel with Xfce desktop, offering usable performance for daily tasks.
