Revolut is set to acquire Banco Cetelem, a small Argentinian lender owned by BNP Paribas.
Revolut aims to offer tailored financial services in Argentina, including multicurrency accounts, P2P transfers, credit, savings, and investment products.
Cetelem, one of the smallest banks in Argentina with around $6.4 million in assets, is undergoing regulatory processes for the acquisition by Revolut.
The acquisition aligns with Revolut's plans to expand banking operations globally, targeting countries like New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.
