<ul><li>Black Leaders Detroit has launched a new initiative, the 2025 Ride for Equity, which aims to raise funds for African American entrepreneurs and business owners.</li><li>The 1,600-mile bike trek from Tulsa to NYC will support equitable funding practices for Black businesses and raise awareness about the challenges they face.</li><li>The event includes stops in cities with roots in Black business, hosting community discussions to support Black business owners along the way.</li><li>All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Black-owned businesses, with Black Leaders Detroit having distributed nearly $5 million in grants and loans to over 600 Black businesses and organizations since its founding in 2019.</li></ul>
