Ripple has partnered with Ctrl Alt to tokenize property title deeds on the XRP Ledger for the Dubai Land Department’s Real Estate Tokenization Project, making Dubai the first Middle Eastern government to do so.
Ctrl Alt gains VARA licensing, allowing full asset tokenization lifecycle services, and will utilize Ripple’s custody technology for secure storage of tokenized real estate titles.
Ripple's expanding presence in the Middle East is evident through agreements like this, emphasizing the need for compliant digital asset infrastructure in the region.
The project aims to facilitate fractional ownership of real estate assets, boost transparency, and modernize Dubai’s real estate market, aligning with the city’s goal of becoming a global blockchain and digital finance hub.
