Ripple's leadership, including CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty, has presented a 'first 100-day checklist' for the incoming Trump administration.
Garlinghouse urged Trump to replace SEC Chairman Gary Gensler with individuals like Christopher Giancarlo, Brian Brooks, or Daniel Gallagher to rebuild the rule of law at the SEC.
He also called for bipartisan efforts to advance the digital asset market structure bill and sought clarity on the classification of cryptocurrencies.
Ripple founder Chris Larsen has been a significant supporter of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, while Alderoty donated $300,000 in XRP to Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
