<ul><li>Since the September 2024 launch of Operasi Saman Tertunggak Warganegara Asing (Ops Tunggak), RM2.5 million has been collected in fines from non-Malaysians, mainly Thai drivers.</li><li>Most of the fines were paid in Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Perak, which are all Thailand-bordering states.</li><li>A Thai van driver settled the highest single fine of RM65,000 in outstanding summonses.</li><li>In addition, RM35 million in outstanding saman was collected through JPJ's special compound offer, with about two million summonses still unsettled.</li></ul>
