Harmonic AI, a startup co-founded by Robinhood Markets CEO Vlad Tenev, has raised $100 million in a Series B round, making its valuation $875 million.
The company aims to develop AI systems capable of solving complex math problems more effectively than current large language models.
Funding was led by Kleiner Perkins, with plans to release their flagship model, Aristotle, later this year to outperform humans at math.
While focusing on verifiable reasoning in AI outputs, Harmonic's ambitions extend beyond math to tackle unsolved problems in physics and computer science in the future.
