Rolls-Royce Phantom Cherry Blossom is a one-off sakura-inspired chariot for a Japanese client

  • Rolls-Royce has created a one-off custom Phantom for a Japanese client, inspired by the sakura, or cherry blossom, the symbol of Japan.
  • The car features more than 250,000 embroidered stitches to represent falling cherry blossom petals, and three-dimensional embroidery gives the petals a tactile quality.
  • The design process took more than three years, with Rolls-Royce artisans working closely with the client to bring his vision to life.
  • The custom Phantom includes a Bespoke Starlight Headliner that took three weeks to embroider and gives the occupants the feeling of sitting beneath a flowering cherry tree.
