Consumer robot company iRobot, maker of the Roomba robot vacuum, has expressed 'substantial doubt' about its ability to continue as a going concern.
iRobot's board of directors has initiated a formal strategic review which includes considering a potential sale, refinancing the company's debt, and other alternatives.
The company added Neal P. Goldman, an experienced CEO and board chairman, as an independent director to help with operational and financial transformations.
iRobot has faced challenges due to uncertainty around consumer demand, competition, macroeconomic conditions, and tariff policies, which led to doubts about its future.
