Rotterdam-based medtech company Kaminari Medical has raised €3.8M in funding from Graduate Entrepreneur, NLC Health Ventures, Libertatis Ergo Holding, and Demcon Investment.
The company plans to use the funds to accelerate the development of its photoacoustics and ultrasound imaging platform, conduct clinical trials, and prepare for market introduction.
Kaminari Medical specializes in intravascular imaging technology, aiming to improve cardiovascular diagnostics and therapy guidance.
By combining photoacoustics with ultrasound imaging, the company enables real-time qualification of plaque composition, helping physicians make informed decisions during interventional cardiovascular procedures.
