Saatvik Green Energy plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore to expand solar module and cell capacity in Gopalpur, Odisha.The new module capacity will be commissioned in FY26 and the solar cell capacity by FY27, taking their total capacity to 7.8 GW.The company aims to reduce costs by 5-10% by manufacturing their own allied products, such as encapsulants.Saatvik Green believes government initiatives like PM Muft Bijli Yojana and PM KUSUM Scheme will drive demand for domestic panel manufacturers.
