Sam Bankman-Fried has been transferred from Brooklyn's detention center to a federal transit facility in Oklahoma City after conducting an unauthorized interview with Tucker Carlson.
He is expected to be sent to a lower-security prison near California's Bay Area, closer to his parents.
Bankman-Fried argues that he was wrongfully convicted and that FTX would have been financially stable without government interference.
He received a 25-year prison sentence for conspiracy, money laundering, and fraud and is scheduled for release on November 17, 2044.
