Samsung has announced the development of faster GDDR7 video RAM for next-gen GPUs, including Nvidia's RTX 5000 series.The new 24Gb GDDR7 RAM is built on a 10nm process, offering 50% better cell density and 40Gbps speed.The enhanced VRAM is expected to benefit applications like AI and data centers, and may also be used in consumer graphics cards.Validation for the new RAM will begin in 2024, and commercial deployment is scheduled for early 2025.
