Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has called on Pakistan to send millions of skilled workers from its Information Technology (IT) sector to support the kingdom’s rapidly growing technological infrastructure.
The Crown Prince expressed a keen interest in recruiting skilled Pakistani IT talent to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s growing tech sector as part of the kingdom's efforts to diversify its economy.
During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed potential partnerships in solar energy, mining, minerals, and IT with the Saudi leadership.
Qatar also expressed interest in strengthening economic ties with Pakistan and plans to expedite a $3 billion investment in IT and mining.
