Stranded US astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, took a step closer to returning home as SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday.
Wilmore and Williams have been stuck on the ISS for over nine months after their mission was extended due to issues with the Starliner spacecraft that took them to the ISS.
The arrival of SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft clears the way for Wilmore and Williams to return to Earth, which is expected to happen on Wednesday, March 19.
In the meantime, Wilmore and Williams have been supporting station research, maintenance, and Starliner system testing while on the ISS.
