South Korean scientists from POSTECH have developed the world's first OLED panel that can change its shape and work as a speaker.
The technology uses a thin, flexible material called a piezoelectric polymer actuator to enable the screen to bend into various shapes and produce sound.
Unlike current flexible screens, this innovation eliminates the need for additional hardware like hinges or motors, making devices lighter and more versatile.
This breakthrough could lead to the development of smartphones, wearables, and soft robots with shape-shifting screens and built-in sound capabilities.
