SEBI proposes doubling threshold for 'High Value Debt Listed Entities' to Rs 1,000 Cr
SEBI plans to raise the threshold for High Value Debt Listed Entities (HVDLEs) from Rs 500 crore to Rs 1,000 crore.
SEBI's proposal aims to reduce compliance burdens for HVDLEs and introduce a sunset clause for governance obligations.
SEBI also suggests filing governance reports in XBRL format, voluntary Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting, and harmonizing HVDLE reporting with equity-listed entities.
