A profile called 'Second Foundation' has sparked debate over the future of the Ethereum Foundation (EF). However, the profile's founder clarified that it was not a real entity and that he would share his thoughts on the EF soon.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin emphasized that the future of the blockchain is decentralized and that EF should create space for other organizations to represent different aspects of Ethereum.
Buterin rejected calls for changes in the EF and criticized social media pressure campaigns by figures such as CoinMamba, Tetranode, and Evan Van Ness.
Members of the Ethereum community expressed support for diversifying EF's leadership, with some endorsing the idea of a 'Second Foundation' backed by Lido founder Konstantin Lomashuk.
