Semiconductor startup Mindgrove Technologies has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Rocketship.vc and Speciale Invest.
The funding will be used to grow the company's workforce, enhance engineering capabilities, and speed up production and sales of its first chip.
Mindgrove also received approval for ₹15 crore under the Indian government's semiconductor Design-Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme to develop a new chip called Vision SoC.
The company aims to bring high-performance edge computing and vision processing chips to the market for devices such as CCTV cameras, dashcams, ADAS, and smart TVs.
