The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ordered enhanced safety inspections of Air India's Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet powered by GEnx engines following the crash.
The DGCA directed Air India to conduct additional maintenance actions on its Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 planes equipped with Genx engines immediately.
