<ul><li>State-owned SJVN Ltd has released land compensation of Rs 269.97 crore for the 3,097 MW Etalin Hydro Power Project in Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh.</li><li>The project aims to construct two dams and an underground powerhouse complex, with a targeted commissioning date of December 2033.</li><li>The land compensation amount was deposited in the joint account and was part of a Memorandum of Agreement signed between SJVN and Arunachal Pradesh government.</li><li>The project, along with four other hydro projects, will have a total capacity of 5,097 MW and a combined investment of approximately Rs 60,000 crore.</li></ul>
