The Spanish military is set to receive a fleet of drones made by Skydio in a contract worth over $18 million.
Under the contract, in partnership with Spain's Paukner Group, Skydio will equip the Spanish Armed Forces with Skydio X10D drones, supporting missions such as force protection, reconnaissance, facility security, and crowd control.
This contract signifies a strategic shift in European defense procurement and highlights the increasing reliance on small, agile unmanned systems in modern military operations.
Skydio's pivot to making military drones has led to its growing success, with its drone products being adopted by the US Department of Defense and 25 allied nations.
