<ul><li>Proton is set to debut a new, smaller and more affordable electric vehicle (EV) at the Malaysia Autoshow (MAS 2025) which is speculated to be the eMas 5, resembling the Geely Star Wish.</li><li>The upcoming EV, potentially named eMas 5, is expected to feature a smaller size compared to the eMas 7, offering a range of up to 410 km based on China's CLTC standard.</li><li>The Geely Star Wish/Xingyuan, which the eMas 5 is based on, comes with options of a 30.12-kWh battery for a range of up to 310 km or a 40.16-kWh battery for a longer range of 410 km, priced between 68,800 to 97,800 yuan in China.</li><li>The Star Wish/Xingyuan offers various features including LED lighting, infotainment touchscreen, ambient lighting, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and is positioned to be Proton's most affordable EV.</li></ul>
