SMIL on?
- SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) is a technology for creating SVG animations.
- Support for SMIL is waning in WebKit, and it does not exist for Microsoft's IE or Edge browsers.
- Chrome has not deprecated SMIL despite initial plans to do so, and WebKit browsers still have full support.
- While SMIL may not be as popular as CSS and JavaScript alternatives, it is not completely obsolete.
