Snap plans to start selling its first pair of augmented reality glasses to the public in 2026, following their initial release to developers.
The CEO, Evan Spiegel, announced the upcoming public release at the Augmented World Expo in California, providing developers time to prepare their AR experiences.
The new AR glasses are said to be thinner, lighter, and offer a wider field of view than the previous developer version.
While the exact pricing remains undisclosed, the glasses are expected to be priced lower than Apple's $3,499 Visio.
