Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) has officially been launched on the Solana mainnet, bringing new opportunities for users and developers by providing secured cross-chain infrastructure for blockchain applications.
The integration of Chainlink’s CCIP on Solana will enable projects like Solv, Backed Finance, Shiba Inu, and others to expand their CCIP-enabled tokens in the Solana ecosystem, collectively representing a market valuation of over $19 billion.
Solana's high throughput, low fees, and large developer community make it an ideal environment for building next-generation, cross-chain applications, attracting institutional capital and deepening liquidity.
Chainlink's CCIP has already secured more than 57 blockchains, scaling the adoption of Solana and ensuring security and reliability while enabling seamless cross-chain movement with other blockchains like Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Optimism, and Sonic.
