<ul><li>South Central Railway (SCR) achieved its best-ever performance in the freight business in the fiscal year 2024-25.</li><li>The zone registered a freight loading of 144.140 million tonnes (mt), a 2% increase compared to the previous year.</li><li>SCR's freight revenue also increased by 2%, reaching ₹13,825 crores.</li><li>The zone focused on attracting new streams of freight business and improving infrastructure and facilities at freight terminals.</li></ul>
