The S&P 500 rebounded on Wednesday, led by tech, as Nvidia achieved a market capitalization milestone and investors tracked President Trump's tariff updates.
The Dow Jones Industrials gained 66.08 points to 44,306.84, while the S&P 500 rose by 16.66 points to 6,242.18. The NASDAQ Composite surged 104.68 points, or 1%, to 20,523.14.
Nvidia shares climbed 2% to $163.26, becoming the first company to hit a $4 trillion market capitalization. Other tech giants like Meta Platforms, Microsoft, and Alphabet also saw gains.
President Trump announced new U.S. tariff rates on goods from multiple countries, but traders appeared unfazed as they shifted focus to the Federal Open Market Committee's meeting minutes and market trends.
