<ul><li>SpaceX has announced a new target date for Starship Flight 8, scheduled for Thursday, March 6, with a launch window opening at 5:30 p.m. CT.</li><li>The upcoming mission will follow a suborbital trajectory, deploying four Starlink simulators that will burn up on reentry. It will also include a single Raptor engine relight in space and reentry experiments.</li><li>Improvements to Starship include redesigned forward flaps, increased propellant volume, and stress tests on vulnerable spots. The Super Heavy booster features upgraded avionics and enhanced power and network distribution.</li><li>If health checks or final approval are not in place, the booster will default to a trajectory for a soft splashdown in the Gulf of America.</li></ul>
