Axiom Space is launching Ax-4 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) with a new SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
The Ax-4 mission was delayed by one day due to expected high winds, with the launch scheduled for 8:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The mission marks the debut of an updated SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule with improvements in storage, propulsion components, and seat lash design for enhanced reliability and reuse.
Axiom Space aims to lead in commercial space exploration by conducting research in various scientific fields with a diverse international crew on a 14-day mission to the ISS, contributing to the development of the Axiom Station.
